Complications of severe ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes

What are complications of severe ischemic strokes (IS) and hemorrhagic strokes HS) and where are we now? The number of the patients with severe complications of IS and HS keeps growing all the time. This is conditioned by the absence of really effective methods of restoration of the damaged tissue of the brain and steady accumulation of new patients after ineffective rehabilitation. A lot of patients stay home after severe IS and HS in a vegetative state and have no chance to restore consciousness, lost motor functions and cognitive functions of higher nervous activity. Can we help to these people?

In fact, even after an extremely severe injury of the brain or spinal cord, the cause no longer matters in 3 years. We deal with the disease of the damaged brain and the treatment of the consequences of IS and HS after clinical death does not differ from the treatment of the consequences of a brain injury or neuroinfection. Therapy principle: The method of radioneurobioengineering has been developed and implemented in the clinical practice. This is an innovative patented method of remote multiwave non-contact bioengineering of the human brain and spinal cord for patients with organic damage of the central nervous system (CNS). The treatment aims to restore the damaged nervous tissue of the brain and spinal cord, and involves the use of modern biomedical technologies of personalised medicine in a specific bioengineering algorithm and approved computerized biotherapy methods based on various types of electromagnetic radiation. The method employs different types of electromagnetic radiation: ionizing radiation, focused ultrasound, structural resonance effect, electrical stimulation of muscles and nerves of the extremities and transcranial magnetostimulation. In addition, therapy and other physiotherapeutic and pharmaceutical medical technologies approved for clinical use are used to restore damaged nervous tissue. All stages of radioneurobioengineering plastics are performed on standard medical equipment according to the bioengineering algorithm for the reconstruction of the brain and spinal cord. All therapeutic methods are approved for clinical use by the Ministry of Health of Russia.

Results: the method allows for partial restoration of the lost functions of the central nervous system after strokes and, in terms of effectiveness, is alternative to reconstructive and restorative neurosurgical operations on the human brain and spinal cord. Efficiency in the treatment of stroke complications depends on the initial cause of the disease and reaches up to 66.1% when the patient is included in the protocol no later than 12 months after the stroke.
